Former President Donald Trump, the current Republican presidential nominee, is set to visit Chicago this Wednesday. He will attend the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) Annual Convention & Career Fair, where he will engage in a conversation and Q&A session with political journalists.
Trump’s Participation in NABJ Convention
Trump’s participation was announced late Monday by the NABJ. He will address pressing issues facing the Black community in a session moderated by notable journalists:
- Rachel Scott, Senior Congressional Correspondent for ABC News
- Harris Faulkner, Anchor of The Faulkner Focus and Co-Host of Outnumbered on FOX News
- Kadia Goba, Politics Reporter at Semafor
NABJ President’s Statement
NABJ President Ken Lemon expressed enthusiasm about the event: “We look forward to our attendees hearing from former President Trump on the critical issues our members and their audiences care about most.” He emphasized that while the NABJ does not endorse political candidates, the organization values the opportunity for journalists to ask tough questions and seek truthful answers that Black Americans need.

Democratic Candidate’s Participation
